Las Farolas was established, first and foremost, to showcase the rich biodiversity of aquatic resources, both the endemic and exotic, including the flora and the fauna that thrive in the freshwater environment. An oceanarioum in concept, designed with keeping the pristine habitat in mind, Las Farolas aims to help the natural world through conservation and preservation of the resources and serve the public through educational activities and research.
