The CGHCNLA is owned and managed by the Philippine Chinese Charitable Association (PCCA) Inc. The PCCA is a non-stock, non-profit service organization. Since its founding in 1893, the PCCA has lived up to its credo “Dedicated to the service of humanity, everybody is welcome regardless of race, creed and nationality.” The PCCA has proven its commitment to fulfill its purpose of providing help and humanitarian service to those in need regardless of nationality, political orientation or religious belief. It has unwaveringly worked for the furtherance of the warm relationship between the Filipino and Chinese communities. Moreover, the association has been actively involved in a range of development programs from business, health and social services to education, in active support for the country’s development.
